What a fun weekend we had! I'd say any weekend that starts off with a date night is bound to be a good one :) Friday night, Brad and I headed out just the two of us - I don't remember the last date night we had!
We ate at Bunganut Pig - YUM! We actually ended up having dinner with Cat and Tyler...so fun! We definitely will go back there again - it was delicious!
Then we headed to the Franklin Theatre (our first time there too!) to see Argo...what a GREAT movie! It was really intense, but we both thought it was fantastic!
Saturday I got up and headed to a jewelry party...these were some of my favorites there!
And Saturday night, we went out with some friends to celebrate Katherine's birthday! Here we are before heading out :)
And the group! We ate at Cantina Laredo (again...a first for me) and it was delicious!
Sunday, we all slept until 9:30 thanks to the time change. That afternoon, we got ready and took a walk to a playground in the neighborhood. Here are the kiddos before heading out!
They had a blast playing and swinging and sliding! The weather was great for playing outside - so glad we got to take advantage!
I love this - this was on the walk home. Katie wanted out of the stroller so she could get some exercise :)
After we got back, we went to see Meme - she had her other knee replaced last week and is now at the rehab facility to do therapies and such. She seemed like she was doing well! My mom and brother were there too, so it was nice to visit with everybody! And on the way home, we stopped at Newks for dinner - we have that at least twice a week I am fairly certain :) Then it was home to prepare for the week ahead! Definitely a fun weekend! Hope yours was great too!
I am really looking forward to meeting you at the Blogger Night! I have two kids too and our kids are about 1 year older than both of yours. Love the Stella and Dot. Pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteGirl, you are looking so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteAs always, I think Katie and Jack are about the cutest things ever!
Girl! You had never been to Cantina?! Wasn't it so yummy? Love that place.
