What I'm Loving Wednesday

WHEW!  I have several blog posts bouncing around in my head right now, but I opted to just stick with a What I'm Loving Wednesday instead - and then I will keep playing catch up the rest of the week :) So come back for some fun posts...but for now, here's what I'm loving today...with a new format!  I made a collage so that it isn't so picture heavy :)

top left: I'm LOVING playing with all my new lenses and filters and toys for my camera!  I know I already posted this picture of Katie, but I just love it.  And I've gotten some other cute ones too - of the kids AND of Sadie!  So check back - hopefully tomorrow! // top right: I'm LOVING these dark chocolate covered blueberries.  Like I could seriously sit down and eat the whole bag.  Thanks a lot, Costco!  Like I need something else chocolate-y and amazing to obsess over :)  But dark chocolate is healthy...and blueberries are fruit - so I'm okay, right?? :)

bottom left: I'm LOVING that I've started a Bible study at my church!  We started this past weekend - and we are doing Beth Moore's Daniel study.  I think it will be intense but very beneficial....can't wait to dig deeper! // bottom right: I'm LOVING the Apple Press Scentsy fragrance!  I put it out in my Scentsy pot last night and it smells amazing!  I need to check and see if they have other good fall smells...pumpkin?  Something cinnamon-y? I feel certain they do...I think I may need it!

I'm LOVING this printable I found online yesterday!  It is always a good reminder :)

I'm LOVING this picture I came across not too long ago.  That is definitely one way to prove a point! I bet she won't wear short shorts for a while :)  The back of his jacket says, "Ask my girls if they still think short shorts are sooo cute!!"

 I'm LOVING this, and I actually think I may print it and put it somewhere where I will see it all the time.  These are definitely some of my goals as a momma!

 I'm LOVING this - and it is true! HA! This is how my evenings are when Brad is watching sports or playing his game :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday, folks!  AND Happy Last-Day-Of-July!  How on earth is it almost August already?!  Good grief.  Anyways, here is what I'm loving today...

 

I'm LOVING (or, rather, I'm SO EXCITED ABOUT...) the new Matilda Jane release tomorrow!  I can't wait to see the different colors, and of course I hope that it coordinates with the pieces we already have!  I am terrible about buying these things and not putting Katie in it for fear of "messing it up" - well, I am bound and determined not to do that anymore.  Why buy it if it is just going to hang in the closet?  That doesn't do any good! Can't wait to see the goodies!

I'm LOVING the new Fall items from Mini Boden!  I ordered some things for Jack for this fall and winter and cannot wait to get it all - it all mixes and matches oh-so-well which means more bang for the buck.  This is one of the outfits I ordered!  I will do a post of "child fashion" once we get some new goodies!

 I'm LOVING Katie's name choice for this adorable doggy.  She got it as a big sister gift and finally named it last night.  Let me introduce you to Booty Shake.

 I'm LOVING all the cute orange and navy things I have seen posted lately!  Bring on football season!  Only about a month to go!  I think I may have to add this shirt to my closet for this fall.  The bow is adorable and you cannot go wrong with chevron!

 I'm LOVING that consignment sale season is upon us!  I am consigning in two local sales, one of which starts tomorrow (to the public)...and I get to shop early this afternoon!  It is an "upscale consignment sale" and I cannot wait!  Shopping early means lots of good finds usually...that was the main reason I consigned!   In the spring I went on the first day it was open to the public and it was completely picked over...so I am excited to hopefully catch some good deals...and maybe snag some Christmas presents for the kids (like one of those Little Tikes basketball goals for Jack!)...

Clearly I've got shopping on the brain - HA!  I will go ahead and apologize to Brad now ;)  And while we are on the shopping topic, did you see my post yesterday about Stitch Fix?  If not, here ya go!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I almost forgot today is Wednesday....which only means one thing!  Here's what I'm loving today!

I'm LOVING that my dentist office gave out tea and blue bubble gum cigars to all patients yesterday in celebration of the royal baby (who I saw will be called Prince George - makes me think of Seinfeld...hopefully that baby is cuter than George from Seinfeld...)!  I'm also happy to report that I am cavity-free!

 I'm LOVING Stitch Fix!  I got my first fix this past Monday (a separate post coming), and this is the shirt I decided to keep!  Not sure what Stitch Fix is?  Well, it is a website where you join and fill out a questionnaire about your style preferences and they have a stylist who picks out items and sends them your way.  You pay for what you love.  You send the rest back.  Pretty awesome, no?  Wanna join?  I'm LOVING this picture Katie drew of her, me, and Brad.  We all have hats on.  And she and I are wearing lipstick while Brad is wearing chapstick (because, of course, he is a boy).

 I'm LOVING this!  May have to print it and frame it to put outside the kids' rooms!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Whew! I almost forgot today was Wednesday - which means another week of what I'm loving!  Here we go...

I'm LOVING this action shot of Mr. Jack from his 12 month photo shoot - he went in head first for that cake!  HA!  Thanks to Shutterbelle Photography for capturing both of my kids during their first year - love all the pictures I get!

I'm LOVING our new closet!  We took the wire shelving out and had custom closets (and by custom, I mean we designed it and had it built) done...this is a little sneak peek.  Another before and after post coming soon! :)

 I'm LOVING that we finally have a real dining room!  Here is a sneak peek of the dining room just after the furniture was delivered - Brad painted in there, we got a rug, and now we have furniture!  We need to get the curtains back up and then a proper before and after post will be done :)

 I'm LOVING this...HA!  I  literally laughed out loud when I saw this....and I admit it is true. :)

I'm LOVING these two rays of sunshine in my life.  And boy, oh, boy am I glad we are all on the mend!  Being sick is no fun!  So glad they have the twinkle back in their eyes!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Why hello there! I have been slacking big time - well, not really...these kids keep me BUSY! So I haven't been slacking, really...maybe just in the blogging department :)  But there are lots more posts coming...they're all in my head right now, but I definitely plan to get them written down on this little ole blog soon!  Here's what I'm loving today!

I'm LOVING that there is another challenge!  I started at the beginning of July - so that would mean today is day 10.  Last night was hard - especially the bicep curls! I cannot even fathom doing all that stuff on day 30...in one day...ah!

 I'm LOVING this quote!  I see it from two aspects...the fitness and the comfort!  I am actually enjoying running and exercising these days....so life really is better when I'm running!  Plus, life is better when I am comfortable...which usually means tennis shoes or flip flops :)

 I'm LOVING this quote.  What a great reminder to spend some time each day reading books.  We are doing good about going to the library this summer.  And I try to spend time with each of the kids separately...or sometimes together...reading books.  Jack still isn't a huge fan of reading - he usually likes to close the book and chew on the corners of the book!  He does enjoy it from time to time though.  I just need to be consistent!

 I'm LOVING this graphic...I laughed out loud when I first saw it!  Brad loves throwing the kids (especially Jack since he is little...and he did do it with Katie a lot when she was smaller) up in the air...

I'm LOVING how well these two play together these days.  I did manage to catch this on camera on Monday - Katie has already figured out she can hold things up above Jack to torment him (or play keep away).  I guess that is fair - he pulls her hair all the time :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!  I cannot believe it is Wednesday again! Well, I guess on one hand time is flying, but on the other hand, it is crawling.  Katie doesn't have school this week or next week - so the days are long :)  But we are managing and having fun!  Here's what I'm loving today!

 I'm LOVING that Brad found out last night that he won a couple tickets to Sunday's performances of the CMA Fest through the lottery at his work!  This is the lineup of the more current folks!  YAY!  Can't wait for Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood!

 I'm LOVING the colors of these pillows!  Don't they just scream summer??

 I'm LOVING this...I literally laughed out loud when I read it.  And boy does this feel true most of the time!

 I'm LOVING this pin from Pinterest - what a great idea to start reading chapter books a little bit at a time with kiddos!  I know Katie would really enjoy it...except for the absence of pictures :)

 I'm LOVING this monogrammed hat! The colors are just perfect...I  may have to get one of these :)

 I'm LOVING this idea for Jack's 12 month photo session!  We will definitely do a cake smash at the end - and this is so fun!  I can't wait to see what Jack does with his smash cake at his party!

And of course, I'm LOVING these two cuties!  We have been going outside to play on the swingset after dinner and they both just LOVE it!  And I love spending time outside!

WooHoo! It's Wednesday! Gosh, time sure is flying these days.  My little baby boy will be ONE in just a matter of weeks.  Unacceptable, I tell you.  And yes, I've been thinking up ideas for his party for quite some time now.  A post to come soon on the inspiration I have found!  For now?  Here's what I'm loving today!

 I'm LOVING the look of this custom closet.  If you follow me on Pinterest, I apologize now.  We are looking to get our closets done soon and I need some ideas.  I love how the shoe space lets you use the space down by the floor, and the shelves at the top let you use the space all the way to the ceiling!

 I'm LOVING this homemade shellac manicure!  I haven't tried it yet, but I found this on Pinterest and will definitely be giving it a try soon!

 I'm LOVING my two sweet kiddos.  Are they not the cutest? This was this morning - Katie asked to take a picture with Jack so she could send it to her friends. :)
