Time Flies....
As I sit here at home this evening watching TV with Brad, I am excited anticipating Katie's first birthday and can hardly believe how quickly time passes. Can it be possible that this time two years ago we were in Interlaken, Switzerland, and then this time last year, I was laying in a hospital bed being induced (and had actually had the IV going for about 2 hours at this point)?! Wow. It truly amazes me that you can blink and a year passes just like that. It seems I was just walking down the aisle to marry Brad....or that we were bringing home our fur-baby (Sadie) for her first night at her new home....or that we were out with friends every weekend....or that we were in Europe....or that I found out I was pregnant with Katie...or that I held that sweet, precious baby girl in my arms for the first time. Now, I am sitting here with a to-do list for her first birthday party this weekend. Wow. It truly is amazing how the time flies by and how every day with Katie is a blessing.

Bathing Beauty
So I love to find good deals. And I like to buy clothes for Katie. This means that I LOVE shopping at end of season sales to find great deals on clothes for the next year. At the end of last summer, I did some shopping and found this oh-so-cute bikini for Katie. It is size 12 -18 months. Last summer, she was very petite but has since "blossomed". It is a little snug when I put it on her, but I think it is just adorable, so I had to post a picture. Enjoy!

Katie's First Easter
As you can see in my previous post, this Easter was much different than last year! Last year, I was huge, uncomfortable, and my wedding rings stopped fitting on Easter Sunday. This year, we have quite a blessing. I love seeing Katie's mind work as she experiences new things. Watching her in church, with family, and even opening her Easter basket was all so much fun. We didn't get around to dying Easter eggs or doing a little Easter egg hunt, but we definitely will next year. Here are a few pictures from our busy Easter!!

The Easter Bunny came! The Bunny even brought some fun things for Sadie, Mommy, & Daddy!
Before getting out of bed on Easter morning
"WOW!! All of this is for ME?!"
Sadie was thrilled that the Easter Bunny even brought her a bone!

Birthday Party & Practice Run
The Saturday of Easter weekend we got together to celebrate a first birthday! Some of our friends have a little girl that was born about a month before Katie, so we helped celebrate her first! It was a great day (we got there at around 1 and didn't leave until almost 8!) of fun. The weather was perfect, the decorations were great, and it was great to get to visit with everyone! It was also nice to go to a first birthday party so I could get some ideas :)
While we were there, Katie got to have a practice run on diving into some cake. We let her have a cupcake to see what she would do with it. Needless to say, as you will see in the pictures, she LOVED it. That makes me so excited for her birthday to see how messy she will get!

Playing in the Park
Since the temperatures are climbing, flowers are blooming (which means allergies are NOT fun), and grass needs cutting, we have been spending a lot more time outside! We love to go to the park and walk, play in the grass, swing, etc. Here are a few pictures of one of mine and Katie's adventures to the park!
Pint Size
As Katie's shirt reads, she is our pint size little one! She was rather entertained by the box something was shipped in (and happened to be in a happy mood while doing so), and here are some pictures!
