Weekend Recap: Sunday Only

What a crazy, fun weekend we had!  Saturday will be a different post - Katie had a soccer game and then we celebrated her turning 5 with a fun birthday party!

Sunday, we slept in (we were all exhausted) and headed out to pick up Hardee's (for Brad and Katie) and Krispy Kreme (for me and Jack) and headed to the park for a picnic and playtime! After we ate our brunch, we played on the playground and then headed out on a walk!  We walked along the sidewalk - and even Jack walked a lot of the way!  We stopped on a bridge to look for fishies in the water - Jack loved that part.  Whew.  I definitely look pregnant!  I guess that's what happens at 31 weeks, huh!
After we finished at the park, we headed home to relax for a bit.  I ended up heading to run a couple errands - including a stop at Lowe's for some flowers.  I laughed at this picture - it sums up my life these days!  Babies (strollers), birthdays (one of Katie's gifts hidden under the quilt), and blooms (all the dirt and flowers)!
And the finished products!  I went a little overboard on the flowers, so there were enough to put by the mailbox with out others.  And there were enough extras for a little pot for the front porch too!  My main goal was to get the flower pots by our garage doors looking nicer.  I think they turned out pretty cute!
And after the kids went down last night, Brad and I continued doing some work in the nursery!  Brad got all the bedding set up in the crib...here is a sneak peek!
And then I did a load of baby things - blankets, burp cloths, Boppy covers...eek!  I will be washing newborn and 0-3 month things later this week.  I can't believe we have less than 8 weeks!
Such a fun weekend and glad we got to celebrate our big girl turning 5!  This time 5 years ago, I was about to try to get some sleep in the hospital since I was being induced!  How can I possibly have a 5 year old!?  Whew.  Unreal.
