Today was a great day to round out the Easter weekend. More posts to come - but it was full of egg hunts, goodies, church, and family time!
At church we sang one of my all time favorite hymns, "In Christ Alone". Here are some lines from the song - great reminder of what Easter is really all about!
"No guilt in life, no fear in death / This is the power of Christ in me / From life's first cry to final breath / Jesus commands my destiny."
In Christ Alone is one of my favorites too. I loved singing it on Sunday. It's so powerful. Happy easter to you, Coulters!
ReplyDeleteHey there! I just read your blog and saw the post where you mentioned "In Christ Alone". It has to be my favorite song! In fact, we had it at our wedding :) It's too weird that you wrote about it - we sang it in church yesterday too, and I cried singing the words. It somehow perfectly conveys what Jesus did in a way that really reaches straight to your heart. Hope y'all had a good day yesterday!
