Bump Watch: 30 Weeks

*please excuse the flabby armpit in this week's picture - note to self: do not wear a sleeveless shirt for pics!

How far along: 30 weeks!

Size of baby: A head of cabbage - about 3 pounds!

Total weight gained: So at my last appointment, I had gained more than I should have for sure - granted we had just gotten back from being on vacation!  So now, the number is at a gain of 13 pounds.  And just a note: at my last appointment, my blood pressure was doing just fine at 106/79.  I am usually right at textbook average, but I'll take those numbers at this stage!

Maternity clothes: Um, most definitely.

Gender: Baby Jack is a boy!

Movement: Yes!  And I can tell that he has grown because his movements are bigger!  He reminds me he is in there quite frequently!

What I Miss: Wearing my normal clothes, being able to go up stairs without getting winded, bending over to get something off the floor comfortably

Cravings: I can't think of anything in particular!

Aversions: Can't think of anything here either.  

Symptoms: I have been getting leg cramps from time to time in the middle of the night.  Heartburn - I usually have to go to sleep propped up on even more pillows!  Exhaustion...pure exhaustion.  Hot flashes. Starting to notice a little swelling in my ankles if I have had a busy day.

Best moment of the week: I love when Katie includes Jack in her prayers at night.  And she always asks why someone isn't sitting in the 4th chair at the kitchen table - she wants Jack to sit there now!  I can also tell the nesting phase is about to begin - I am so ready to get all the furniture and everything set up in the nursery.  I feel like things are a bit more hectic this go around and can't wait to see it all come together!  We also have a 4D ultrasound scheduled - can't wait to see that sweet boy again!

And here I am at 24 weeks, 28 weeks, and then 30 weeks.  The stickers have me doing belly pictures every 2 weeks now - should be interesting to see how I grow!  I feel like my belly grew up this time - it is bigger, but it seems like he is positioned higher up this week.  I don't know if that was the way I grew or because of the way he was curled up in there!

 And here is the comparison at 30 weeks with Katie and then 30 weeks with Jack.  Since I have a different style shirt on, I think it is kind of hard to tell how the belly shapes are different.  Again, to me, it looks like he is way up near/in my ribs this go around!

I'll start back with the beach trip pictures tomorrow - just wanted to make sure I stay up to date with this pregnancy - less than NINE weeks until we meet this sweet boy!
