This last Thursday night was the Third Annual SEC Block Party - SO fun! This year, the crowd was great and it is a great chance to get excited about football season being just around the corner! You pay for your ticket, which includes entrance, 2 drinks, and unlimited tests of various BBQ restaurants. There is a BBQ contest - and this year, I think there were 6 different vendors - YUM! All of the SEC schools have tents (even though I couldn't find the Auburn one - how disappointing!) and it is a chance to join the local Alumni group, get a bumper sticker, or just stop by and say Go Vols!...or War Eagle (had there been an Auburn tent)! There was a DJ which added to the fun as well! Here are some pictures!

In our group, we had Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama, and Vanderbilt represented! Now bring on football season! Only 12 days until Tennessee takes the field - and we can hardly wait!
