What I'm Loving Wednesday

Welcome, Wednesday!  It's that time again...here's what I'm loving today!
I'm LOVING my beautiful roses that Brad and Katie got me for our anniversary this past Sunday!  I also got another fabulous gift, but that will be a separate post :)
I'm LOVING this quote.  I think I might print it and frame it for Katie's room somewhere - afterall, it IS her favorite color!
I'm LOVING this fun list of things to do this summer.  I know I keep posting these things, but I think they have such fun ideas!  Now we just need to decide which ones we want to do!
I'm LOVING this idea to make a patriotic wreath - and on the cheap, too!  I bet the Dollar Store has cheap red, white, and blue flip flops (or the dollar spot at Target) to make this wreath...may have to try this - next year :)
I'm LOVING how easy this looks to be - I found this idea for salt dough handprints and the recipe from a blog on last week's WILW (here is the link) - and apparently, all it takes is 1/2 cup salt, 1/2 cup flour, and 1/4 cup of water...and then you make the print and bake at 200 degrees for 3 hours!  I assume you can add some food coloring or something to add some color.  Or paint or something afterwards.  Anyways, I want to do this for both Jack and Katie - I think it'd be cute to display/frame together somewhere!
I'm LOVING this sweet boy.  Look at that smile!  Is it not the cutest thing ever? Ok, ok...I'll stop that now...

  3. Thanks for the blog comment! I tried the salt/dough recipe to make Evan's footprints for Christmas ornaments, but it didn't come out as planned. I don't think I cooked it long enough and it was really difficult to get a nice circular shape. I hope you have better luck! Your new little one is soooooo cute! I'm an official follower now!

  4. Congrats on that sweet baby!!!!

And I'm not sure if I wrote this in my blog about the salt/dough prints, but I cut around the edges before I baked them to make sure they were nice and round. Otherwise they would have looked like a hot mess.
