Exercise and Goals

Now that I have had my six week follow-up appointment, I am good to go for working out.  I really want to do a better job at getting back in shape and fitting in my clothes than I did with Katie.  I bought a double stroller at a consignment sale - the best deal ever!  I got it for $50 - that's even less than I got my single jog stroller for off craigslist!  I got it out and loaded both kids up on Friday for a walk in my very hilly neighborhood.  I figure when I push them, it is pushing about 65 pounds between the weight of the kids and the weight of the stroller.  That was the second time I had exercised since having Jack - last Tuesday I walked and jogged on our treadmill.  My goal is to exercise, in some form or fashion, 3-4 times per week (and I'd like to lose maybe 25 pounds).  I think that is reasonable, especially once Katie starts her mother's day out/preschool in September (she is going 3 days a week this year)!  And I have also bought a few daily deals to attend a few classes of Barre Amped or Pure Barre, so that will be nice and different!  And of course, I have probably 15 fitness DVDs that have only been used a handful of times, so I can locate those and try to use them (especially Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred)!  So, I figure if I post about my fitness goals, that makes me more likely to follow through.  Hm.  I guess we will see if that really is true!  I'm hoping to do some kind of exercise today - maybe we can head out on a family walk.  Hope you are having a great Sunday!
