The fair was in town! And I knew Katie would love it! We went Saturday night and had some friends with us - Jill and Stella! Katie was SO excited when I told her Stella was going to get to go! And it was a fun girls night for sure - the daddies and baby boys stayed at home (and I'm so glad - it definitely would've made things more difficult to maneuver with a stroller)! Here the girls are after we got out of the car!
And it was my first drive in the new van - of course a picture was necessary :)
The girls had a blast on the rides and pretending to be farmers and eating corndogs and fried oreos! The weather was perfect and we had a great time!
The only thing Katie was sad about is that she was still too short for the ferris wheel - you have to be 42 inches tall. Hopefully next year!
We were at the same fair too. Next year, if they claim she is too short double check...their measuring sticks are not right. They told us on several rides that our son was too short, but he is 42" tall. We just happen to be at the pediatrician's office the next day and we double checked...yep, 42" tall. Of course I didn't tell him that he could have ridden several more rides the night before. ;)
